BOLD Wine Co.

We believe that everyone should have access to delicious and balanced wines that speak to their place of origin. Every year we work with new vineyards and varieties for Seabold Cellars; those first few vintages, the new wines that we find promising are released under the BOLD Wine Co label. We produce exciting, affordable, sustainably-grown wines from the Monterey Peninsula.

2017 Riesling / Arroyo Seco

Zabala is a remarkable vineyard in Arroyo Seco, one of the first modern vineyards in Monterey. The entire vineyard is a dried riverbed, with cobblestones where soil should be. This Riesling was co-fermented with Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, giving it an earthy, old-school Alsatian character.

2017 Chardonnay / Monterey

Elm Vineyard is planted to old-vine Chardonnay, and sits just outside the Arroyo Seco AVA. Typically displayed rich, deeply-seated tropical notes, we blend the fruit here with a leaner style off of Mesa del Rio, a site more known for sparkling wine production.

2017 Grenache Rosé / Paso Robles

From Four Sisters Ranch in the San Miguel District of Paso Robles. This wine is dead-center between rosé and lighter-styled red, displaying Grenache fruit character in a lighter, fruitier style.

2017 Pinot Noir / Monterey

Super yummy, with crazy-wild crushed berry fruits, poached rhubarb, bits of hibiscus topnotes, and striking a balance between fresh fruit character and real depth and complexity.

2017 Pinot Noir / Santa Lucia Highlands

This wine originates from the first plantings of Pinot Noir in Santa Lucia Highlands, a rocky outcropping rising up to 1400’ in elevation.
